Mr. Surendra Shah is a Mechanical Engineer with a degree from Clemson University, USA, 1960. During the span of his career of 45 years, he has been part of many major HVAC projects such as Air India Terminal, Oberoi Towers, MSEB Prakashgad Mumbai, SriLanka Oberoi, a housing complex at Baghdad Iraq and several others. In the last 2 decades, he has dedicated himself to zero energy and natural cooling systems based on Indian heritage and traditional practices. He was the designer of the sheetal minar (wind towers) for the CII-Sohrabji Godrej Green Building Center in Hyderabad, the first platinum rated green building in India. He is the Founder Chairman of Panasia Engineers Pvt. Ltd. and life member ISHRAE (Indian Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers), IIID (Institute of Indian Interior Designers) and SESI (Solar Energy Society of India).
